Calling it finished! Had a lot of fun working on this piece. May or may not make a few very minor tweaks later, but overall really happy with the outcome!
In case anyone missed my previous updates, this is my Shovel Knight x Dark Souls crossover piece I’ve been working on.
Hope you guys like it, may or may not look into getting prints made for some of these game crossover designs. If anyone’s interested, please shoot me a question pertaining to it here on tumblr, I’d love to hear your opinions. Have a super swell day everyone. "For Shovelry!"

Getting closer. Still need to go back and clean up the reflections on Shovel Knight, as well as introduce some of that orange and red reflective color on his armor. Pretty happy with the flames for the most part, some very minor tweaking might happen with that, but overall pretty pleased. Still a pretty nice chunk of work to do, but I’d say I’m definitely more than halfway finished. Stay tuned.
ps. Found out most 24-hour shirt design submission sites only run up to 6 colors for a design. Oops, oh well. Maybe next time!

I don’t normally do this, but I figured I’d do a few work in progress screen captures to show my build up through this piece. Working on a Shovel Knight x Dark Souls crossover illustration, featuring a weathered Shovel Knight taking refuge over a bonfire, his shovel engulfed in the flame instead of a sword. Just some prelim line-work and color build up going on here, I’d like to go back in with some line and make some additions, but I’ll be going in at the end to add a great deal more line detail as well. I’ll be sure to keep posting these as I work through it (if I remember to take pictures…)

Just finished Shovel Knight, what a fantastic game! 10/10

Anyways, decided to do a few quick sketches of some Shovel Knight/Dark Souls crossover stuff (the top one of Shovel Knight chillin’ at a DS bonfire, and the bottom one of Shovel Knight taking on Gravelord Nito). Currently working on a finished illustration of the top sketch, I’m thinking it’s gonna turn out mighty awesome, and I hope fans of both games will think the same. Stay tuned!

I suppose now is as good a time as any to announce that I’m starting my first serious webcomic project, currently under the working title of “The Whatever Chronicles.” The story revolves around a 23 year old guy who wakes up one morning and finds out he’s the Chosen Hero who has to save the world from a celestial evil that once threatened mankind. I’m sticking to a 4-8 panel strip format that I’m planning on releasing twice a week. Included with this comic will be fairy companions, turtles, explosions, awful humor, cardboard, ancient ruins, mystical tomes, deranged wizards, and much more.
I’m really excited to put this out, I’ve never invested so much “me” into a project before, and I’m really excited with the outcome and how the writing process has been going so far. Up above is a teaser panel from the first strip. I’ll most likely release a nice chunk of about 10-15 strips right at launch, so stay tuned for more updates!

Here are the three paintings that i have in tomorrow night’s TINY TRIFECTA show at Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn!

Everything in the show is $100.  Some pretty amazing artists involved.  Although, there are usually people camping out to get the big timers.  Be warned for such things.

But should be sweet!
